Mike Pearson's Web Site
The site was last amended on 20th February 2002
I like to keep up to date with things, but there will inevitably be occasions when you may think the site no longer has anyone caring for it. Hopefully, this will always be a misconception on your part.
Currently the site is in a state of flux, as you may see, but I thought it better to keep the site up while the alterations are on-going.
The site is still developing...........it really is never ending! Every time I look at the site, I find something not quite right; maybe that's the way with these things.
This site was started during February 1998 on an evening when I was at a very loose end after sampling some Highland Park, so if it looks like the ramblings of a drunk, then you know the reason. Originally, the site was at the address www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/stelmo/368
but for some reason when I started using Trellix, I could not gain access so I had to re-home it. The old site still exists, but has not been updated for some time.
On the right, courtesy of Ordnance Survey (I hope they don't mind) is a rough sketch of my location. If you find me wandering about lost in the hills, this is where you need to send me back to.
The black outlined area is part of that covered by Ordnance Survey's Explorer map 281, Ancholme Valley. It can be purchased at most good bookshops or direct from Ordnance Survey themselves. See Links Page for a quick link to their site.
Below is a more detailed map.

I didn't do it! - but then we all say that don't we - you may be wondering what I didn't do - but then that's for me to know, isn't it? Ooh! and perhaps there's some djok out there who may know what I'm talking about.
